The UX Process
I redesigned a desktop application for a low-code platform. After looking into the client's current platform, we realized it presented many issues but found one overarching problem - users who were not fluent in development did not understand the complicated UI and technical language. With that being the case, users ultimately did not know how to interact with, use, or complete actions with the current platform.
With this pain point in mind our goal was to design a platform that had a clear and understandable UI, and was accessible by any user, regardless of their knowledge of development.

Wireframes
After pain points and user personas were realized, my team and I began developing wireframes. We went through about four rounds of feedback and iterations with the client until we felt confident including the full user interface.
After, we ran the designs through Usability Hub to get real user feedback and made adjustments accordingly. One point of feedback we received was that being able to distinguish through the top two navigation tabs was important - it was still somewhat confusing to users what the difference was between the two.
